Beginner CARDINAL Primitive Rug Hooking Kit with Hook

This auction is for a complete rug hooking kit by Sharon Perry. It includes everything you need to complete this 8 X 8 inch Primitive Hooked Rug. I am calling this a beginner rug hooking kit because of the size and the fact that I have included the hook. I wanted to create a reasonably priced smaller kit for those out there who are just starting out and don't want to be overwhelmed by a large kit with a large price. The cardinal  is hooked with reds, brown and mustard for the beak.  The background is done with a lovely oatmeal plaid giving it a lovely textured look  and the leaves on the tree with dyed gray and over dyed green.  For a finishing touch I added one row of over dyed brown plaid and then another row of oats plaid.    Hooked up this would make a really nice wall hanging or table center piece. Lots of people use these small rugs as teapot or candle mats as well. They also  look great hanging from country furniture.  Here's what you will receive if you purchase this kit:

I accept paypal and credit cards processed thru paypal.   If this is your first project I would suggest a quilting hoop frame which can be purchased at any fabric store. There are more user friendly and costly frames available, but I did my first couple of rugs on a quilting hoop and then graduated to the more expensive frame.
