Use the Beseler Analite 300 to help determine optimum exposure time for your color or black and white enlargements.
This negative analyzer is 115V AC with in-line on/off switch. Analyzer is used but in excellent condition. Comes with original Beseler Analite 300 instruction manual.
The analyzer is plugged in to a 110 outlet, white lights are turned off and negative placed in enlarger. After composing image, place analyzer in darkest area so light falls on unit sensor. Set F-stop to desired opening, turn off safelights and turn analyzer knob until light comes on, slowly backing it off until light goes out. To assure accuracy, repeat. Exposure time in SECONDS appears beneath pointer. That's correct exposure time for ANSI 250 paper (preset).
You can determine correct exposures for other speeds of paper by transferring seconds scale to time scale and dialing in your ANSI paper speed.
