I'll take it back if you don't like it and that's a fact. I say 7 days because I'd like to get it over with ASAP, but whatever it takes is usually fine. Also, if it's smashed to bits (it has happened), you can keep it, but you have to promise on a stack of buckwheat pancakes that it's really been destroyed and you're not just trying to rip off a fellow human being for your own personal profit.
