Haystack Treasures is very pleased to offer for sale at auction this 1st Edition Bookplate Print from the talented artist and author James L Lockhart.  This First Edition print has a light and attractive textured touch adding a nice dimension to the piece distinguishing it from later editions which are smooth or flat. This special feature is limited to the first edition printing of this volume. It is in excellent, vintage condition. This artwork piece was printed nearly three decades ago and has zero loss in color intensity. It was printed with special fade resistant ink using offset lithography by the highly respected Sleepeck Printing Company.  Potlatch Corporation provided the fine paper for this lithograph print according to the explicit standards of James Lockhart.  Designed specifically to be trimmed from its book for framing, the care in producing this art piece faithfully duplicates the original painting with fine accomplishment. This vintage wildlife print measures approximately 12" x 15" or 30.5 cm x 38.1 cm each, is single side printed and is signed in the plate (not hand signed) with James Lockhart's signature.  This print would be a splendid addition to any vintage nature art collection and/or look wonderful framed on the wall in your home, library or office. It would also make a thoughtful gift or present for the ornithologist or naturalist of the family.
