I am a Paramedic/EMT instructor. After my Paramedic graduation I wanted a good stethoscope because I had worked with the cheap ones for so long. So I purchased a Littmann STC Cardiology I paid a big dollar amount for the quality. It worked perfect and lived up to its name. I would never say anything bad about Littmann’s quality because they sell a great scope.

 As my career progressed I became an EMT instructor at a local community college. I started to notice my students struggling to find a scope that would fit their budget. So I began my search for a scope that they could afford, and would hold the same quality as a Littmann scope. After many months of testing scopes I came up with the Valiant II Cardiology. My students loved it.

Being in the field myself I have the opportunity to use a stethoscope almost on a daily basis. The Valiant II matched and exceeded the standards I have set. It has a thick tubing to reduce the "white noise" that you hear in a noisy ER or the back of an ambulance. It also has 3 sets of ear pieces Super soft, Medium and Hard and comes with an additional diaphragm.
