For those familiar with Portland Wrestling, Billy Jack Haynes was a fan favorite from the start. He was always proud to be from Oregon and always praised the fans of the Northwest. So, it was a huge shock when Billy surprisingly turned heel in the Portland area in April of 1990. Some say his heel interviews were more of a shoot than a work and boy is he convincing of his hatred towards the fans, Owens, Don Coss and pretty much everybody else! DVD #1 covers his heel turn in 1990 and ironically involves him battling it out with his archrival’s son Larry Oliver. That’s right, in an odd twist of wrestling fate, long time heel Rip Oliver and his son Larry, are the fan favorites while Billy is the heel! DVD #2 covers Billy as a heel when he returns in 1991. The bulk of this dvd covers him battling it out with Bryan Adams/Demolition Crush. Great stuff as well. This 2 dvd set is a must have for any Billy Jack Haynes or Portland Wrestling Fan! Footage Disclaimer: Please note that alot of this footage is classic wrestling action from the early 90's and has not been digitally remastered. I personally think this footage is good and certainly worth the price but I don't want people to expect this footage to be pristine like it was producted for tv last week. Let me say though that I have yet to have a complaint about any of my Portland Wrestling dvds and most out there know how hard the footage is to come by! Check out my feedback for any worries!
