Bing Grondahl Dahl Jensen Titmouse Bird 1633 Figurine

An exquisite vintage Bing & Grondahl hand painted bird figurine of an "optimist" titmouse designed by Dahl-Jensen who worked for the company from 1897-1917. Catalogue number 1633. Piece is in excellent condition and is first quality. Measures about 5" x 2" and about 3 3/4" high. Has the Bing & Grondahl backstamp used during the period 1962-1970 and has the initials of the artist who painted it. Made in Denmark.

Figurine is wonderfully realistic. No chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. No repairs. Edges are smooth. The colors are vibrant and intact and the glaze is shiny. Glaze is very reflective - spots in pictures are reflections, not damage.

This is a lovely piece and very collectible. Offered with No Reserve.
