Chemistry - VIRKON is a balanced stabilized blend of peroxygen compounds, surfactant, organic acids and an inorganic buffer system.

Mode of Action - By oxidation of proteins and other components of cell protoplasm, resulting in inhibition of enzyme systems and loss of cell wall integrity.
