Many years ago, I found this FABULOUS Quick Tarnish Remover!!! I was attending an International Gem & Jewelry Show in Chicago, and this lady at a booth stopped me and asked me if I'd like my rings cleaned for free. Of course, I said YES! Well, right there, before my eyes, in less than 3 minutes, all six of my rings were dazzling and shiny as the day I had purchased them!!! I was SOLD! Since then, this is my favorite method for removing tarnish on all my Sterling Silver Handmade Pendants, my chain necklaces, and my rings. In fact, whenever I send one of my pendant creations out into the world, I wish the new owner had this tarnish remover. That would be great!
It doesn't matter if the stones in your jewelry are soft, because this ALL NATURAL tarnish remover polish/paste is safe for: pearls, amber, jet, opal, and even shells. It doesn't scratch or discolor. I love it! The greatest thing is that you can do it quickly without having to rub and rub. I just mix a little paste with some water on an old toothbrush, create a sudsy mixture and spread it on the entire piece of jewelry, wait about 3 minutes, and rinse it thoroughly under running tap water until the paste is all gone. It's that easy! I love this method the best for restoring a beautiful shine to my Sterling Silver creations because it gets into all the nooks and crannies! If you have engraved pieces, the toothbrush method works really well, too. If you want to clean something larger, a soft damp cloth will work for application of the paste, then polish it off with a dry cloth and then rinse. And this polish/paste/tarnish remover is child safe (biodegradable).
Because most of the jewelry I create is made with Sterling Silver, that is the main reason I recommend this paste. I do need to point out, however, that it also is good for cleaning Gold, Brass, Bronze, Copper, Chrome, Stainless Steel, and Aluminum. Note: Do not use on 24K gold-plated jewelry.

I have a few different sets of BEFORE and AFTER photos on this page to show you how wonderfully this tarnish remover works. The bracelet shown in the photos is mine, and is not included in this auction for tarnish remover. It was purchased from the artist whose initials are on the back. I inadvertently misplaced it in a drawer for over a year. When I decided to offer the tarnish remover on eBay, I thought it would be great to take photos of BEFORE and AFTER views while I was cleaning it. In a few of the photos, I have shown a swirled Sterling Silver ring to show the optimum brightness of Sterling Silver. This ring is not included in this auction for tarnish remover. (I do have it available in my eBay store, though.)
Tub's Measurements: just over 2-3/4" across, just over 1-1/4" deep, with 2 ounces of tarnish remover inside. It has been my experience that a tub of this tarnish remover can last up to six months or even a year, depending on the quantity of jewelry you will be cleaning, and the frequency of cleaning. A tiny bit of this paste will go a long way.
