Early Spring Plum Blossoms | |
| The plum blossom is one of the first signs of spring. This is a variation on the fifth piece in the series of fabric collages created using a copper/coffee colored brocade with both black & white plum blossoms. Each piece in the series includes the brocade fabric combined with a white or tan fabric with a garden motif printed in black textile paint. | |

The improvisational collage style of composing allows me the freedom to explore and discover unexpected evolutions of the content and meaning behind the metaphorical imagery.
While the metaphoric images have specific meaning to me, they are also enigmatic in that the viewer can bring their own personal experience to their interpretation.
A full-time studio artist, instructor and lecturer since 1994, Linda’s art has been exhibited and collected internationally - Germany & France.
