Black Agate or Jasper Gemstone Cabochon Matched Pair

I'm sorry-I'm not sure where it comes from!  It is a dark brown to black Jasp-Agate with floating colors of yellow and reds.

Jasper and Agate are both forms of Chalcedony.  Jasper usually refers to an opaque stone, with a solid color or an irregular display of colors caused by various mineral impurities, whereas Agate is usually translucent or at least partly.  It is referred to a Jasp-Agate when the difference is not exactly clear!

These matched cabs are custom cut for earrings, into a freeform shape, with the creative jeweler in mind.   They are 28 mm by 15 mm at their widest.
