A friend was going to Germany several years ago and I asked her to bring me home a cuckoo clock. After receiving it, we decided it just didn't fit anywhere in our house. Put it up in the attic and have now decided to sell it. The clock has never been unpacked which is why I only took a picture of it in the box. The other parts are still in plastic. It is a House of Black Forest Clock and signed by the carver, Adolf Herr. It really is a beautiful clock and life in the attic is just not where it needs to be. It has a modern 8-day -rack strike movement fitted with a stop strike lever on the left side of the case. All of the original instructions and paperwork are in the box. I took them out just to take the picture. The cuckoo clock house measures approx. 11x10 without the little bird on top. The picture on the pamphlet explaining how to set it up is how it would look once put together out of the box. We had no need to unpack it because it just wasn't going to work in our house besides with a very high energy border collie pup and 2 cats we decided this would just cause all of us to go crazy. |
