My "Insurance Policy"   INSURANCE: I am NOT responsible for any loss of package, loss of content or any damage to item that may occur during shipment. This shipment contract requires that I (as the seller) properly and securely package your item, in the exact condition described in this listing, and deliver the package to the carrier in a timely fashion. The risk of loss or damage to contents passes to the buyer at the time of shipment. Neither seller nor buyer has any control over what may happen to a package with the shipping carriers so insurance is highly recommended. * I do hand deliver all packages to the Post Office or UPS and therefore avoid any possible theft of package left for pickup on my doorstep. . I encourage you to have a secure delivery area and if you know that you will be away from home and want me to hold shipping and mail on a certain date then just let me know! Shipping with the Post Office will require determination to purchase optional postal insurance at Buyer’s discretion. I will gladly act as proxy for you, to obtain said insurance with the Post Office. YOU pay for this insurance therefore this is your insurance, in your name for your protection against loss or damage and any monetary reimbursement of said insurance will go to YOU. I am required to keep the insurance receipts until your package is accounted for. To claim  a LOST package you must wait at least 21 days after mailing for possible delay in delivery.For DAMAGED items YOU will need to file the claim at your Post Office – please notify me of damage to your item within 2 days of delivery. I will assist you in every way that I can however the item will be in your possession. No damaged item can be returned or reshipped as this action totally invalidates the insurance. The receipt documents will be sent to you by request only for damaged package items. UPS includes insurance up to $100. INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS WELCOME !!! Shipping from the United States is much more expensive and slightly more difficult. YOU are responsible to know and abide by any importation laws to your country.
