Black Swamp 15x12" Maple Symphonic Field Snare
This is a Beautiful, brand NEW Black Swamp SA1215MSD 12" x 15" Symphonic Field Snare drum in Walnut finish. 6+6 ply Maple with shell reinforcement rings, 2.3 Steel Hoops, Precision-Glide Duo Strainer option. Produces the huge, rich, deep resonant tone as demanded by many musical styles and composers. These instruments are the creme de la creme of symphonic field drums currently available. Terrific, deep dynamics, amazing volume and finesse all the way down to the subtlest grace note.
This instrument is offered brand new, direct from Black Swamp, from the box, custom-made via our order for a friend who was unable to complete the deal. I'd love to keep it for my own performance, but it's burning a hole in the proverbial pocket. A professional's drum to be sure, it's home is in a concert hall. Steve Weiss provides these for $979, my Reserve is considerably less than this.
