Staffordshire Black Transferware Plate Colonial Couple and Dog in Garden

This is a wonderful plate found at a local Estate Sale. I have no idea of time of manufacture, but it would be simply stunning on a wall or in a Welsh Cupbord. Crisp Transfer, I find NO chips, cracks or repairs. One or two faint, light scratches show that the plate was used as was intended.

Plate is rimmed with black inner line and gilded edge. Fully marked on back. This could have been a special design made expressly for famous Shreve, Crump and Low in Boston, MA.
