Traditional Black & White Film Development - 35mm & 120 !!

This is a film developing service.

Ask about Special Developing Discounts!

About me:  I have a Bachelor of Science in Photography and while in college I worked as a Black and white lab aide developing film and printing traditional Black & White Photographs.  I taught hundreds of students how to develop film and print photographs each semester for 3 years while employed in this position.  I now teach photography, and the History of Photography, at a community college.  I am also currently a graduate student, Master of Arts, History.  Also while I was attending the University, I worked at a art-museum as a matting and framing assistant during the summer when the photo-lab was closed.  This is where I learned how to press, mount, mat, cut glass, and frame with archival materials.
***I don't use mailers, you just mail me the roll of film as soon as you make the purchase and I give you my address.*** This makes it so you don't have to wait for a mailer.  Paypal transactional history lets me know who purchased what and where it goes.

It is simple, you pay the 'buy it now,' I provide my address, (or you can just retrieve it from paypal after the transaction), you mail the roll(s) of film, I develop it and send it right back to you the following day.
I can develop any traditional B&W film.  I eat, breathe, live, think about, work, and develop traditional B&W film, all day, everyday.

All pictures on this advertisement were taken with film and developed myself.

I just added Kodak Tmax developer to my inventory of film developers!

Chemicals included are:
Kodak Tmax or lford Ilfotec HC or Spur HRX-3 or Adox ATM49 or Microdol-X developers, your choice.
Ilfostop indicator stop-bath (or plain water if desired)
Clayton Archival Fixer
Selenium Toner
Zonal Pro Final Archival wash.
Kodak Photo Flo

I also email a scanned contact sheet at no additional charge.  I do not send a contact sheet print with this particular listing.  That print is sold separately in another eBay ad, check my other listings.

Scanner:  Epson V700

NOTE:  For only an additional $8.99 I can scan all of your individual frames at 4800 dpi ( it would take something like a 25mp digital camera to equal that resolution) and return them all on a CD with your negatives. Look at a local pro-photography's price for this service for comparison;  they'll charge you $5-$6 per individual negative, and I only charge $8.99 for the whole roll of negatives!  If you want this check my other listings, this service is sold separately.

I selenium tone all film unless otherwise instructed.

Advantages of selenium toning film:
Sharper Results
Denser negatives
Archival negatives.

I don't charge extra for push processing nor do I charge extra for 24 vs 36 exposures or 120 vs 220 film.

This package includes:
Developed film in an archival sheet and an emailed contact sheet.

About the pictures:  The pictures used here were shot with Ilford traditional B&W PanF+ 50iso film.  Format: 6x9.  Film was deliberately used to show my personal ability to develop film. The second shot is to show actual pixels.  The 6x9 was scanned only at 1200dpi on the Epson V700 flatbed scanner.

Other examples of my B&W developing and scanning abilities can be found on my portfolio:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/39674530@N02/

I cannot develop Kodak BW400CN or Ilford XP2 B&W films.  The reason is because they require color chemistry.  I cannot develop any film that says, "C-41," or, "Process C-41 only," somewhere on the box or cartridge.

______________________________________________________________________________________________

I have created 6 other listings associated with this ad, they include:

1.) Contact Sheet $5

2.) Scanning service of all frames in the developed roll of film $8.99

3.) Printing 8x10

4.) Printing 11x14

5.) Printing 16x20

6.) Printing 20x24

If scanning of all negatives at the time of development, or a hard copy contact sheet print is desired, simply purchase the other ads included in my other listings.  Scanning and hard copy contact sheets are not included in this specific ad, scanning and contact sheets are included in my other ads.  The shipping is free on these other ads.

Announcement:

I now print photographs using an enlarger.  These are not the, "get a 4x6 print with each negative," but rather fine art printing the traditional way.  These photographs are purchased individually. There is no computer or digital files associated in this form of photograph creation.  These prints are not inexpensive (a box of printing paper cost $100 for 50 sheets, and that is the least expensive!) but rather fine art prints that will NEVER fade, dull, or turn yellow in your lifetime.  The free emailed contact sheet can allow the purchaser to decide if any of the images are to be used for printing.  Check my other listings.
