Blackstone Handmade Extra Large Bowie
This is a Blackstone Knives handmade extra large Bowie knife (see my blog at knifewriter.com). The blade is 1 5/8" wide, 10" in length and made from 3/16" 440-C stainless steel. This blade has a very precise hollow grind for an excellent edge holding and cutting ability with a sloped back spine.
The handles are black canvas micarta with a single stainless corby rivet surrounded by 2 Diamond Crystal pattern mosiac pins consisting of 5/32" brass tubing with eight 1/32" nickel silver pins and a center square of brass tubing. This knife also features a 1/4" thong hole with a brass tube insert and polished brass guard. The overall length is 15".
This knife ships new in the original box with a certificate of authenticity and a well fitted brown leather sheath.
