You are looking at a very unique vintage Blair Wooden View Camera for full plate glass negatives. This camera comes with 4 - original Blair Camera Co plate film holders patent date May 15, 1883.
This camera's mahogany body is in beautiful condition with no breaks or chips and still has its highly polished finish. All the chrome fittings are bright and shiny.
This camera moves smoothly on the rails. The bellows are in good condition and have been tested for light leaks and has none!!
The brass lens has no name on it but is clear and bright with no cleaning marks, fungus or separation.
The silver company logo "Blair Camera Company, Boston" is clear and bright.
All four of the film holders are original and have the original dark slides with patent dates clearly marked on them.
This is an outstanding camera as a display piece or as an example of a working full plate camera. These holders can be modified to accept cut film with interior masks.
