Published in February of 1953 by Collins of London, this is the 3rd Impression of Peter Lanham's "Blanket Boy's Moon." Based on a story by A.S. Mopeli-Paulus, Chieftain of Basutoland, it is a historical novel about the racial strife in South Africa, combining the elements of a thrilling adventure story with the backdrop of assimilating blacks into their native land despite the ruling whites. 320 clean, unmarked pages including a helpful glossary. Very good spine and a good blue cloth cover, bumped slightly and sunned a bit especially at the top of the spine. Lanham was a renowned broadcaster with the South African Broadcasting System. Decent first state dust jacket with chipping and edge wear and spotting and minor paper loss. Price intact of 12s, 6d, net. Nice tiny tag from "Fogarty's Port Elizabeth' on the back inside cover. No reserve~!
