Bleach Izuru Kira Wabisuke Zanpakuto Replica Katana

This is a fantastic replica of Izuru Kira's zanpakuto in its released form, Wabisuke. It is 36 1/2 inches overall and equipped with a stainless steel blade 26 inches in length that is one-half matte black in color and one-half silver. The hook blade is approximately 12 inches in length. The blades are not sharp making this an excellent piece for cosplay and fantasy role reenacting. It is also safe for display in family environments. The stylized square guard is metal and detailed. This sword is full tang as evidenced by the double pegging seen on the tsuka. The handle is 10 inches long and covered with imitation ray skin which is overwrapped with black nylon braid done in the traditional Japanese plait style. Included with Izuru Kira's Wabisuke Katana is a wood plaque for displaying this great replica. This is another piece that the collector of replica Bleach zanpakuto cannot be without. Izuru Kira...

...is a lieutenant in the 3rd division and was formerly a member of both the 4th and 5th Divisions. He is a friend of Momo Hinamori and Renji Abarai. This friendship stems from their days at the Soul Reaper Academy. He is loyal to his friends but places his duties as a lieutenant above all. He regrets aiding Gin to defect from Soul Society and develops a depressed and pessimistic attitude.

Kira's zanpakuto is Wabisuke, The Apologizer, or The Penitent One. When released, Wabisuke doubles the weight of whatever it strikes. And since the effect is cumulative each following hit exponentially increased the weight of the target. The overall effect is that after several strikes opponents are unable to lift their own sword or even move their bodies. This leaves them on the ground with their heads bowed as though asking for forgiveness. This is the point when wabisuke's released form, the back swept hook blade, is used to decapitate the immobile opponent. Thus denying any forgiveness.
