Rainbow Petrified Wood from Northern Arizona.

Most pics were taken with digital flash but it poorly showed the color of green on this item, the third photo was taken with room lighting only. I may add or email a photo of this item in sunlight by request.

This petrified wood was legally collected from private land. 225 million year old fossil of the ancient species Araucarioxylon Arizonicum.

The Petrified Forest National Park has some of the most beautiful fossil wood. Many colors of the light spetrum are found in many beautiful samples from this world reknown park.

However it is illegal to collect from the Petrified Forest national Park.

This specimen was collected from similar terrain and is of the same ancient forest as the park.
