This is a beautiful dark gray roving (it is darker than it appears in the picture) with a lovely squishy hand. It is extremely clean. It was processed by Zeilinger's Wool Company. They do great work! This roving is very easy to spin, great for beginners. It came from a prize winning fleece purchased at the Western Washington Wool Show in April 2009. What will you create with this cool roving, a scarf, mittens or a cozy hat? It is an elegant natural color but would also overdye (and felt) beautifully. I spun some of it today and created a wonderful, lofty skein. It is soft enough that I would wear it against my skin. This listing is for 16 oz but let me know if you would like me to set up a custom listing for you in a larger amount. Blue Horse Farm & Fiber is a small cottage industry located in the Cascade Foothills, near Mount Rainier in beautiful Washington State. I raise Shetland Sheep and Angora Goats. I also buy gorgeous fleeces from other farmers and have them processed in to gorgeous rovings. Buying Blue Horse Farm and Fiber roving helps to support sheep farmers in the Northwest. I thank you for your interest.
