This early 20th century rolling pin was made in Germany and, probably, imported by the GMT & Bros.Co. of New York. The piece of pottery measures 7 1/2" long and 3" in diameter. It is very big, but very usable. The wooden dowel that goes through the center is 13" long. The marks on the edges and pinpoint dings here and there are nicks from use. There are no large cracks or other chips in the piece. It is still very white and the cobalt color is bright. Not many of these rolling pins lasted for so many years in one piece. Please e-mail questions before making a purchase. Thanks for looking! |
