Blue Pearl Iridescent Dehan Encaustic Painting Wax

One block of blue, pearl, iridescent Dehan encaustic painting wax.

Designed to be mixed with any of the coloured Dehan waxes, to give a pearlised and iridescent sheen to them.
They add another dimension to any painting, but especially fantasy or snow ones. As the pearlised parts will change colour slightly and sparkle when viewed from different angles.
The effect can be as subtle or dramatic as you want.

Mix a little of a pearl wax with any coloured one (on your iron is easiest) to give a pearl version of that colour.
It's more cost effective than having to buy the normal colour and a pearl version of the same one.
It is very concentrated and you only need a small amount, so one block will go a long way.
There are three different shades available, pink, blue and yellow.
This listing is for the blue version, if you would like either of the other shades, you'll find them in our ebay shop. In the solid block form they all look very similar - white, their full beauty isn't seen until you use them.

Made in England.
Each block is triangular shaped approx 4.4cm (1.7") along the shorter edges, and about 1.5cm (0.6") deep.
You can use it with other makes of painting wax.
If you haven't used Dehan encaustic painting wax before, do an internet search for Chris How to paint with an iron or Chris encaustic.
Her site tells you all about it, gives the basics of encaustic painting and shows you what she does with this wax.

We aim to send ALL parcels out within a day of receiving payment, but if you are bidding on other items, let us know and we will hold things for you and combine postage, if we can - cos we're good like that.
We use 1st or 2nd class postage (your choice) where possible but we will send things by Royal Mail Special Delivery, if you pay their extra charges. However, in our experience, first class will get things to most UK mainland addresses next day, anyway.

If you are buying more than one item and going to pay by Paypal, please check with us about joint postage before you pay.
Paying for them altogether, in one transaction gives us more scope to give you a postage discount.

We accept payment by cheque, postal order, bank transfer or Paypal, but in UK pounds only. We also take most UK credit/debit cards via a third party merchant service, but online not over the phone.

If there are any taxes or import duty due your end, they're your responsibility.
