Ratings definitions:
I try to be conservative with ratings. However, there may be times that your assessment will be different from mine. Let me know if you feel I’ve misrepresented any record, and we’ll work something out.
NM (near mint): Virtually flawless. Vinyl rated NM should play almost as well as when it was brand new. The vinyl will have its original bright luster. It may have one or two very light scratches, but these will not interfere with the play of the record at all. Labels rated NM will have no visible flaws.
VG+ (very good plus): Not flawless, but nearly so. Vinyl rated VG+ will have some slight background noise, but nothing the listener would consider distracting. Any background noise will be light and consistent, with no annoying pops or skips. The vinyl may have a few noticeable scratches or smudges, but will have most of its original luster. Labels rated VG+ will have one or two noticeable flaws, but overall the label will appear relatively new.
VG (very good): Slightly flawed: Vinyl rated VG will have some distracting background noise, with possibly some pops. But, it will still be playable and enjoyable. The vinyl will appear well used, with most of its original luster gone, and likely several scratches or smudges. Labels rated VG will have several noticeable flaws.
G (good): Badly flawed: Vinyl rated G will only be placed up for auction if it is extremely hard to find in better condition. It will play without skipping, but it will have significant background noise that will detract from enjoyment of the record. Labels rated G will be quite badly damaged, though still readable.

I package all 45’s in a heavy bubble mailer, with the records wrapped in hard cardboard. I have shipped thousands of 45’s over the past 2 years, and I have only had one complaint of a record breaking in the mail. Nevertheless, insurance is a good idea, and can be purchased for $1.65.
Return Policy: If you are totally dissatisfied with a record please let me know. A full refund, minus shipping charges, will be granted.
