Bolex Matte Box Compendium and Sunshade

Bolex Matte Box can be used with all H16 cameras but is especially recommended for reflex cameras, where the reflex viewing permits exact analysis of the desired effect. It enables the production in the camera of many professional effects such as masking scenes, silhouettes, split screen techniques, wipes, titling, simplified animation. Naturally, the Matte Box also serves as the finest form of lens shade and as a gelatin filter holder. The Matte Box mounts on base built into the latest H16 cameras. The Matte Box is supplied with pre cut keyhole, binocular and heart masks, several blank masks, acetate sheets, and glass plates for rear and front frame. The front of the Matte Box measures 3-3/4 x 5-1/4 and the back is 2x3. The compendium bellows fold evenly. Extended the bellows are about 7 inches long. It is in excellent condition. All comes in a plastic tackle box for protection and to keep it all together.
