This Colorful Item comes from a series of 52 dog prints originally published in a Berlin Newspaper in the 1960's.
During the 1960's the Berliner Newspaper provided colorful, detailed dog prints from various German animal artists in a special section of their newspaper. This lovely collection comes from the highly regarded animal artist R. Scholz.
Scholz specialized in paintings and etchings of dogs of all breeds. He worked in pencil, pen, ink and oil and was best known for his work in pastels. His brilliant color dog illustrations such as these, were highly prized and collected.
This lovely "New" illustration was published in the U.K., is printed on heavy card stock, measures approximately 4" x 6" and has been Custom Matted in black "acid free" mat, ready for your 8" x 10" frame.
Your artwork is shipped flat between sturdy cardboard and comes protected against moisture with a plastic sleeve. It's then carefully packaged to prevent bending or damage during transit.
