Complete pair Bose 402 speaker system –  two 402 speakers molded in durable polyethylene, the (required) 402E Active Equalizer, and the TK4 transit kit (clever molded clamshell that protects the speakers as well as makes it easy to transport.  

This auction includes the (necessary) 402E Active Equalizer.  The 402E has ¼” ins and outs, and has 2 separate channels.  Bose rates the 402 at a conservative 120/240 Watts RMS/Peak each.  Frequency Response: 90Hz – 16kHz plus/minus 3dB

I have used these speakers with great success.  They are so simple, virtually bulletproof, and they easily fit in a car.  The 402 set sounds amazing – crystal clear vocals without being shrill, solid bass (down to 90Hz), and only weighs about 35 pounds total.  They can be used full range, or used with a bass box – they play incredibly loud and still sound fabulous when augmented with a bass box.

The 402 speakers have threaded inserts for use on stands.  They also have a feature that lets that sit like floor wedges so they can be used for monitors.

A real versatile workhorse system.
