Shipping -
Buyer agrees to pay $12.00 for shipping and handling in the continental US. Shipping charges include my cost for packaging supplies and handling/packing time AK, PR and HI and other US islands will pay exact cost of shipping + $10 for handling and packaging charges. Unfortunately, I often have local winners, therefore, I do not pack the items until the auction is over, which means I can not give you an estimate for shipping until you win. Local pick up is preferred and allowed. Shipping charges will be waived if you pay in cash

So, if you really are serious, go to ebay completed items and do a search on how much similar items sold for. Then get the average, and make me a fair offer - if you see that an item sold between $250 and $300, then make a sensible offer, say $275 - don't be the village idiot and offer $10, you will be ignored. If I like your offer, I will end this auction and relist as a private auction just for you, with our agreed buy it now price, and we'll do everything through ebay for our protection. If you really want the item and would want to persuade me, then offer a premium price. Time is money, my friend. I see identical items listed? - sometimes, I would list the item twice - once as a buy it now/best offer and one as an auction. My purpose is to sell as soon as possible.
