I purchased this fabulous bag from an online retailer frequented by celebrities and Purse Forum members. It’s Botkier’s “Trigger Moto Clutch” in soft, smooth Italian leather in rich, luxurious black. It has a deep luster satin finish. Over the past couple of years, oversized clutches have become very popular, especially when you can carry them different ways. The "Trigger" was one of Botkier's most popular styles and in fact, by popular demand, it was "revived" and re-introduced in several variations, including this wonderful convertible clutch version. So, those of you who are "Trigger" fans or who really love clutches in general - you've simply got to get one of these. The hardware is brushed gold toned brass. Like the full size "Trigger", it has triangular flaps on both the front and back. At the point on the front, there is a studded leather band that has a dog clip end. The band encircles the bag bottom and clips to a ring that's at the point of the corresponding flap on the back. Concealed beneath the flaps are pockets. When the clip is engaged into the ring on the back, it holds the flaps down and provides a secure closure for the pockets. On the front flap, there are also dual vertical zippers which provide access to a small "cubby hole" type pocket into which you can squirrel things like keys, an ID card or some other small item to which you need quick access. The top has a secure zipper closure. All of the exterior zipper pulls are long, hanging split leather ties. The bag can be carried in true clutch style. Or, for times you want to shoulder or messenger-style carry it, there's a gorgeous studded leather strap that clips to rings on the ends of the zipper encasement that extend out an inch beyond the top corners. It's lined with black logo embossed jacquard. Inside there's a zippered pocket and enough interior space so combined with the exterior pockets, there's enough room for all the essentials - small wallet, ID/business card case, checkbook, compact, lip gloss, pen, brush, keys, cell phone and gum/mints. I've included a couple photos of my husband modeling the bag. To help you envision size, Ron is 5’ 6” tall and weighs 135.

This design is a "mini" version of the full size "Trigger" created due to the popularity of oversized convertible clutch styles, as pictured on the runway, and being carried in celebrity, style and fashion magazines. This one is year-round appropriate and will coordinate with every outfit. Since it can be carried on the shoulder, messenger style and in true clutch fashion, it can be used for dressy, work and casual occasions. There's no reserve and insured UPS ground shipping within the USA is free. An additional incentive to bid/buy is that the listed price won't cover my costs; this transaction will be a loss for me. Plus it's the only one I have and since I'll be retiring from ebay selling once my existing inventory is listed/sold (except for my own personal collection downsizes a couple times per year) I won't be getting another. About the Designer/Brand:

If you've not previously heard of the brand, it's the brainchild of Monica Botkier, a NY fashion photographer who delved into the fashion industry with her first collection of bags in 2003. They were a huge hit, being snatched up by many of the most recognized women in the world whose names I cannot specifically list here or ebay will pull the listing but you can spot them yourself in the celebrity magazines. Monica's goal is to consistently introduce custom materials, designs and tackle new markets. The "Trigger" was one of the most popular styles in the brand's history and was brought back last year by popular demand. A shoe line also debuted last year. Each season, the Botkier collection consists of around 40 different silhouettes which are sold in respected stores like Barney's New York, Fred Segal, Harvey Nichols and Neiman Marcus. While using custom detailing, innovation and quality but still focusing on functionality, and sitting price wise just under the high-end designer labels, Botkier marries luxury with utility.

Since I know Botkier bags well and purchased this one myself from a respected retailer with whom I have lots of experience, I’m positive it’s authentic. However, if upon receipt and inspecting it yourself you have any doubts, please contact me to relay your concerns and request return. I would also encourage you to take the bag to the reputable store of your choice that regularly sells Botkier bags and ask them to confirm authenticity. If the retailer is of the opinion that the bag is not genuine, I would truly appreciate receiving that opinion along with the reasons therefore and contact information in writing so I can provide that to and have a serious discussion with the retailer’s customer service manager. If a return is requested, the tags must still be intact, the bag unused and all of the accompanying materials present, I will issue a refund once I inspect the bag to make sure it indeed is the same one that was sent, hasn’t been used and has all the aforementioned components (sorry, but I’ve got to protect myself against those who practice “bait and take” and “modeling”). Shipping Information:  

Shipping via insured UPS ground within the USA is free. To ensure there is a mechanism to cover potential damage or loss during shipment and document that the package was delivered to the intended recipient at the address specified on the PayPal payment notification, all packages shipped within the USA will be insured and require a signature for delivery. For those of you who work full time (like me), requiring a signature can be inconvenient. However, since the package will be shipped to the address specified on the PayPal payment notification, you can change the address in PayPal for that specific payment to your work or other location of your choice, such as a UPS store in your area. I wrap packages very securely and have not yet experienced damage or loss. But, there is always a first time for everything so the insurance protects us both. I'm sorry that I cannot afford to offer USPS as a free shipping alternative. If you choose USPS, please understand that the estimated cost includes not only the postage based upon the weight of the bag inside the shipping box w/packaging materials to keep it safe/undamaged during transit but also insurance coverage based upon the replacement value of the bag and the fee for signature required delivery.

I will do my best to securely wrap your package but if on the rare chance your bag does get damaged, please contact me immediately and keep the box and all packaging as the carrier will need to see it for the insurance claim. If you use a knife or other sharp object to open the box, be careful not to let it slip inside where it could penetrate the dust cover and cut the bag. Shipping insurance will not cover that type of damage.

International buyers, I'm sorry but I cannot afford to absorb your shipping cost, but I will do all you need me to do to "facilitate" customs clearance. Depending on value declaration, up to $100 of shipping insurance is included (the max amount the USA will cover and allow me to purchase).
