While we do accept PayPal from US account holders with a confirmed PayPal address, We do not accept international PayPal so do not ask and do not assume that we will. We have had too many problems in the past with fraud involved with international PayPal accounts. PayPal only provides protection for sellers when shipping to US buyers with a confirmed address.

We accept the following methods of payments, listed in order of time to clear: Bank Wire Transfer, Bank Cashiers Checks, US Postal Money Orders, Business Checks, and Personal Checks. All are subject to a hold while funds clear.

PayPal payments must have a confirmed address. We will only ship to your confirmed PayPal address. Again, we do not accept international PayPal

All California residents will be charged 8.75% sales tax.

Payment must be received within 7 days of the time you receive you total including shipping.

We ship within the United States and Canada only. Upon request, and with the understanding that we do not take international PayPal and only ship internationally using FedEx International, we will accept international bids. Like all bidders, international bidders are responsible for all shipping costs.

Upon auction completion, make sure you complete check out and request your total through Ebay so our system will be updated with your address.  Make sure to provide your phone number for the delivery address, FedEx requires this information.  Failure to do this will result in delays getting your total.  Remember to check the email address you have registered with Ebay as we will be sending the total to that address.

We calculate each shipping total based on the dimensions and weight of the box and the buyers address.  We do not set a flat rate for shipping but bill at the FedEx rates to the destination. If we make a mistake in your shipping bill, by all means call it to our attention before making payment.  If an error has been made, we will correct it.

Most orders are shipped by FedEx Ground, we will ship FedEx express upon request but again, buyer is responsible for shipping costs.

Some of the items we sell are too large and heavy to ship via FedEx ground. In these cases, we will be shipping by either a common freight carrier or padded van service.

All items are professionally packed using new packing materials. The packing fee charged is only to cover the cost of materials used in the packing process.  Packing fees range from $4 for small items to $45 for large freight items requiring palletization for shipping.

We will add your packing fee to the shipping total when we send your total.

All bidders are welcome to arrange their own shipping if you get better rates with your own carrier.

If you are the winning bidder and you live locally, you are welcome to stop in to pick up your item. We are available for local pick-up, by appointment only, Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10:00am - 6:00pm.

We have a scheduled pickup with FedEx every Friday. This is a small company and from time to time, we experience delays in the packing and shipping process so if your item is delayed for any reason, rest assured we are working on it and you will get what you paid for. We would appreciate the patience of our buyers as when we are in the process of creating listings for hundreds of items to be sold on ebay every week and at the same time, packing and shipping items that have already sold, things can become a bit hectic. We work hard to ensure that your buying experience on Ebay is a good one. If you do not feel you can comply and accept the fact that your item may be shipping 7-10 days late, please do not bid.

As stated, we bill at exact FedEx rates, plus the cost of packing material. We bill for packing material at our cost, no markup.  We do not charge for labor to pack the item.  You can calculate your own shipping estimate using the FedEx online rate calculator at www.fedex.com. We are shipping from zip code 94710. For most items, the weight and dimensions of the item are given in the description. For larger items it may say Approx for weight as it is too heavy or large for our scales. In estimating your shipping costs with the FedEx rate calculator, remember to add a few pounds for smaller items, and at least 4 inches to the dimensions of the product, more for larger items, to allow sufficient space for box size and packing material.

We are often asked, why we do not set a flat rate for shipping on our items.  We are located in Berkeley, California.  If we set a flat rate, we have to use the farthest distance we may be shipping, say New York, or Maine, and base the shipping costs on that.  While this may work fine if you live on the east coast, if you live in California, or Washington, or anywhere inbetween, you will be over paying for shipping.  For this reason, we calculate shipping costs based on FedEx ground rates to your zip code so you only pay the shipping costs it takes to get the item to you.

Returns:

We will only accept returns if the item does not meet the condition described in the auction. Buyer is responsible for shipping costs and the item must be returned within 7 days.

Feedback:

We use Ebay's Blackthorne Pro for listings. Feedback is processed by the software automatically for those who have left positive feedback for us. We do this process at least once per month. We have always considered negative feedback as an absolute last resort. We have noticed a number of buyers however who like to quickly jump to negative feedback if things don't go perfectly. We have warned you up front that your item may be delayed in shipping. Having this information given to you prior to bidding, if you choose to leave negative feedback because your item was not shipped fast enough we will consider this inappropriate use of feedback. We conduct an honest business here on Ebay and have done so since January of 2000.
