It is very likely that this thimble can only be purchased at the Popeye Village film set in Anchor Bay, Malta, where the 1980 film Popeye was made with Robin Williams and Shelly Duvall. The thimble is manufactured by Bristow Potteries, a renowned ceramics manufacturer at Ta' Qali in Malta.
