What is a 72 pin and why do you need it?

A pin connector is what connects the game to the system. As time passes and games are played the connector wears down and stops working properly. When this happens the system blinks/resets instead of playing the game. With a new 72 pin installed the connection is clean and tight so that your games will play again.

Is it installed?

It is only included, for good reasons but I will install it at no extra charge if you wish. The reason I do not install it is  1: If you install it you know a new pin was TRULY installed as many sellers do advertise the system as having a new pin but in reality they do not. 2: In time you may need to clean your pin, and considering you installed the pin you know how to gain access to your pin to clean it. 3. Many systems do not need a new pin installed yet. With the new pin only included you may be able to hold on to it as a back up. Yes I do include instructions on how to install the pin. It only takes about 5 minutes and a phillips screw driver.
