This is a very beautiful Retired set of 8" Boyds Bear Plush Bears named Bailey  #9199-17 and her boyfriend Edmund #9175-17.  They were issued in Fall 2001 and retired in 2002.  Bailey and Edmund were limited to a 6 month production.  Bailey is perhaps the most famous of the Boyds Bears because she was named after the Head Bean's own daughter.  Bailey is wearing a pretty plum dress and dark rich purple velvet cape trimmed in white faux fur.  She has a matching white faux fur hat.  Edmund is very handsome in his matching evening wear.  I think this is prettiest Bailey Bear ever.   Bailey and Edmund are in like new condition and comes with all their original tags.
