On consignment: Very pretty and collectible 9" serving pitcher, by Boyds Home. Looks unused. Dishwasher and microwave safe. Nice retro pattern with modern shades of blues and greens on a neutral gray/beige background. Fern pattern accents the 1960s-look bands of color circling the jug at its middle. Made in 2003. No reserve!

Remember, these are vintage and antique items, and are old. Old things show signs of age, which most collectors and dealers view as beautiful, as "patina," and as signs of authenticity. If you are looking for something that looks "new," you may want to forego antiques and vintage items, and focus your bids on brand new reproduction pieces sold elsewhere. But if you want the sense of history antiques and vintage collectibles carry with them, you are in the right place.

IF YOU ARE PURCHASING SEVERAL ITEMS: WAIT FOR MY INVOICE at close of auction, and do not respond to eBay's automated payment notice. You cannot receive your shipping discount unless you pay for all items with the same payment. (Otherwise they are not separately trackable unless they are shipped separately.) Also, Ebay's "auction won" notification is often inaccurate in figuring the shipping charges and you may well be overcharged or undercharged for shipping, necessitating further billing and payment. I SHIP ON MONDAYS, WEDNESDAYS, AND FRIDAYS. IF A HOLIDAY FALLS ON A REGULAR SHIPPING DAY, THAT SHIPPING DAY SHIFTS TO THE NEXT BUSINESS DAY. YOUR ORDER WILL BE SHIPPED ON THE FIRST REGULAR SHIPPING DAY AFTER YOUR PAYPAL PAYMENT CLEARS.
EXCEPT DURING THE LATER PART OF THE HOLIDAY SEASON (about December 15 through about December 23, during which time we ship within 1-3 business days), WE GENERALLY SHIP WITHIN 5 BUSINESS DAYS after receiving your cleared PayPal payment. We cannot control time of delivery once the shipment has left our door. Be aware of this and do not give bad feedback for "slow shipping" when we fulfill this promise. (We do leave feedback in kind.) If you need quicker service be sure to a) order an expedited shipping method such as Priority or Express mail; and b) TELL ME you need expedited service - I cannot know this if you do not tell us (add'l handling charges may apply for expedited service).

Substantial shipping discount on multiple purchases, shipped in same box. 50% discount (shipping only) on 2nd and 3rd items, and 75% discount (shipping only) on every item after that. If you wish to bid on additional items after winning an auction, contact seller immediately after first auction closes. Item with highest shipping charge with be charged at full rate, regardless of order in which auctions closed. Discounts applied in order of highest shipping charges. E.g., if you buy a dress that ships for $8 and a book that ships for $1.50, I will charge $8.75 for shipping. If you buy a widget that ships for $10, and win five book auctions where each book ships for $1, and if they all fit in the same box, I will charge you $10 shipping for the widget, $1 for shipping the first two books, and $.25 for shipping each of the remaining three books, for a total of $11.75 shipping charges.

All replies to my emails now go into an unmonitored computer and I will not see them. However, eBay system's messages always to into my eBay message box, and I always see them.
