This made in Japan, boys -2 transistor radio does work & is in good condition. There are no cracks or chips to case. There are some fine scratches that should buff out.  I was able to pick up 2 local stations nearby.  I could  understand what they were saying but radio could have been louder. Perhaps because i have no antenna or it's a 2 transistor.  Battery compartment is free of corrosion. There is no tag to let me know who the Mfg was or the model #.   Only indication is on front panel with 4 stars.  Simalir to a Mellow-Tone boys radio.  Battery is not included.Thanks for looking.
