Payments For Items Purchased

DorisDays request buyers pay within 48 hours of the auction close. Item's ending on Sunday; payment should be made NO LATER THAN Tuesday evening of that same week. Auctions ending on Monday; payment should be made NO LATER THAN Wednesday of the same week. We ask this so that we can process your shipments promptly, and also please know your bid is a committment to purchase and we the seller have incurred fees based on your committment to buy.  

LATE PAYMENT: After one week of non-payment, an unpaid item dispute is opened with Ebay. If no contact and or payment arrangement is made by the 7th day, a dispute will be opened with Ebay, Buyers automatically enter into a legally binding contract to purchase items from sellers if they win a online auction and or use the "Buy It Now feature". Ebay's Unpaid Item policy requires buyers to pay the seller for the items that they commit to purchase. If item still remains unpaid Ebay will issue a strike on the account of the buyer who does not honor their obligation to pay (unless the buyer and seller mutually agree not to complete the transaction). I close the dispute reported to Ebay, and an unpaid item strike is put on bidders record. Negative feedback is also given to bidder from DorisDays.

Q-Do you accept check or money orders?

A-No,we accept Paypal payments only! However, you can pay with a check with Paypal.

 


Shipping!

 

Domestic & International shipping: We use USPS. Rates are usually calculated by your home location in auction. Priority and First Class mail are the ONLY two shipping services we provide for Domestic. Priority service is provide for International shipping when required. Rates are determined by item weight, materials used: (tape, envelopes, paper, etc) and any other handling that is required. We provide at no additional charge Delievery confirmation for all Domestic packages.

 

Flat Rate Domestic Shipping: Is used for most domestics shipping.

 

FAQ on Shipping:

Q-Can you lower the shipping cost for international shipping, and or change the method of shipping for an international address?

A-Unfortuantely, no. At this time we've found it difficult to cut through the red tape of customs requirements which takes quite a bit of time for all International packages before they can be mailed, and then get them out timely, DorisDays has a special team that handles Internationl shipping which causes additional fees in some cases. 

Q-I live in Georgia. If I win one of your auctions, can I pick it up?

A-At this time, we do not allow local pick up's for any of our items.

 

Q-Do you combine shipping?

A-Absolutely! Domestic shipping only; The highest shipping rate, plus $2.00 off each item.

 

Q- Do you offer insurance on your auction items?

A- Yes, Insurance is optional, and recommended for fragile items. It is the buyers responsibility to purchase insurance when he/she recieves there invoice.

 

Q-You printed my shipping label on the 3rd, it is now the 6th, and when I check the delievery confirmation number, it still says the post office received an electronic message on the 3rd, and there is no new information! Will you please ship my package!?

A-We understand your frustration! It is not known to us why this is, however, the delievery confirmation information page will usually always have "no new information" until your package is delieverd. It does not happen to everyone, but it is not usually a reliable source to tell you when your package was actually mailed. If you are curious to know the actual date your package was sent out, please ask! dcrutchfield@comcast.net or message us using ebay's system! We ship everyday except Sundays. Most packages are sent out same or next day! We move quickly! Don't ever hesitate to ask questions! We are happy to answer all!

 

 

Q-How long will it take for me to receive my order?

A- We ship daily, and immediately after a cleared paypal payment. Often same or next day! You should receive your order according to how they were mailed >>>>> Priority mail 2-3 days, 1st class mail 2-5 days, Media mail (books,tapes, CD's, DVD large qty's) 2-9 days, Parcel Post 2-9 days

 

Q-How are your items shipped?

A-We will use USPS & UPS through PayPal. When you receive your item, you will see our name, and contact information as well as yours printed on the outside of your package. Inside you will see a packing slip with every item you have purchased, an item number and both parties contact information. This allows you to track your package through your paypal account, and protect both buyer and seller. You should receive an email with your delievery confirmation number soon after you make your payment.

 

Q-Do you ship right after an e-check is sent?

A-No, we ship after an e-check has cleared, which takes about 3-4 buisness days after you submit paymnt. For security purposes PayPal will not allow sellers to print a shipping label with an uncleared e-check. We will ship your order as soon as your paypal payment has been cleared.



 
Terms of Sale:
 

At this time, all sales are final, unless the buyer feels an item is not as described. If that is the case Dorisdays will refund 100% of purchase price to include s&h. DD will determine description issues with buyers. It is suggested that buyer read entire description prior to bidding to ensure item is what they want!

Q-Once I've Paid,Will I Receive Positive Feedback?

A-Once a cleared payment has been received, you should receive an email from Paypal giving you confirmation that your payment has been made, and a shipping label has been printed. Payment does not complete the transaction. Feedback will be left after you leave feedback for us, this assures us you will contact us if there is a problem with your order so that we can try and make it right. No customer will leave Dorisdays displeased with their ebay experience.

 

Q-When do you leave Negative Feedback?

A-We ONLY leave negative feedback if a dispute has been ruled in our favor, or if negative feedback has been left for us, without communication with us before left. We have had to do this once as we only have one negative feedback against us, and would like to keep it that way.
