This auction is for an original vintage slag glass lampshade. It came off a Bradley and Hubbard electric table lamp with a similiar design. The shade is marked (in two spots) "PAT'D. OCT. 20, 08.". While it is not marked Bradley and Hubbard, I have no doubt that Bradley and Hubbard was the maker of this beautiful shade. The caramel slag glass panels are all intact. I was unable to find any cracks or chips. It measures approx. 8" high. The panels are approx. 8 1/4" in length (top to bottom) The bottom measures approx. 14 1/2" across.
This lampshade was found at a flea market in Soth Phoenix, Az. The lamp section itself had suffered major damage. Luckily the shade had managed to survive unscathed!. There is a bit of wear, and some oxidation to the metal (primarily at the top), but overall it's in pretty nice condition. Please check out the photographs in order to make your own assessment of this great Arts & Crafts era lamp shade. Please note that most of the photos do not do the glass justice. The last two photographs provided show the shade with light shining through it.
I do 100% guarantee that this is an original vintage lamp shade. PLEASE email me with any questions you may have. Please check for other questions/answers below this description. I will provide additional photographs upon request (please make such requests prior to the day of the auction's end). The shipping cost to the winning bidder will be based SOLELY on the rate charged by the USPS. There are no 'handling' or hidden fees. Insurance is optional, but recommended.
Thank you for your time.....and good luck!
