Summary of My Selling Policies
PaymentOur preferred method of payment for products is PayPal. Prompt payment is expected. Any payment not received within seven days, unless otherwise arranged with us, is treated as abandonment of the purchase agreement. Wire transfers for very large purchases are encouraged.
FeesIn accordance with the law, we charge Minnesota sales tax of 6.5% when the buyer is from Minnesota. We normally charge an appropriate handling and shipping charge to the U.S. International handling and shipping charges are calculated appropriately. On occasion, with some product offerings, we offer free shipping and handling, and that is clearly stated in the product listing.
ShippingAt this time, we ship to the U.S. and, in most cases, Canada. We reserve the right to sell into other regions when we feel the opportunity, cost, and potential risk is reasonable, and we will indicate that on applicable listings. Accepted carriers such as the USPS, UPS, and Fed-Ex are normally used. Contracted dropshippers select their best high-quality shipping options.
DeliveryMany of our products are warehoused and shipped by various dropshippers around the U.S. Their policies are normally shipment within seven days. If we have your product on hand at Safecastle, we ship on the next business day. When we offer products that are special order, we clearly communicate those shipping expectations with the buyer.
Refunds & ReturnsWe are happy to offer full refunds of the product bid price and shipping if the product is not what the buyer ordered/purchased and the product packaging remains unopened. We must be notified immediately after delivery of this type of shipping error. If the customer is otherwise unsatisfied for any reason and the product is returned undamaged within seven days, we offer a full refund of the bid price. The shipping charges are nonrefundable in this case. If the product is delivered to the buyer damaged, contact us immediately. All products shipped are covered by carrier insurance, and there may be special requirements for reporting and returning damaged shipments along with their packaging in order to get reimbursement. In many cases, we can also offer product exchanges in lieu of a refund, so contact Safecastle LLC as soon as possible to determine your options as a valued customer.

In the case of installed shelter structures delivered by the company we represent, post-sale adjustments are fully the responsibility of the shelter builder, though we are happy to help any way we can.
