Brand New Megatouch Force/ION Heatsink/Fan
Here it is! The best heatsink/fan combo that you can buy ANYWHERE for your Merit flatscreen machines. This is the item that Merit started recommending to their operators to use on the ION machines. In fact, they released a press, err, release stating that they would be sending these out FREE to anyone who purchased an ION machine that has the lower grade HSF. The IONs sold initially with a small light aluminum (painted black) heatsink. Merit quickly realized that it was inadequate and sourced a better HSF, which I have for sale here. If you have an ION, YOU DO NOT NEED TO BUY THIS FROM ME. Call Merit. Give them the serial # of your machine. They will send it to you for FREE. This item is listed for 2 people. The first are those who want a backup. The next is people with Force machines (Merit only sends free replacements for the ION games) who need a new fan, HSF, or who broke the plastic retention clip off of the motherboard. You see, if you look at most heatsinks, the metal clip only clips on the center retention piece of the socket. This one clips on 2 clips. While the Force EVO machines have an adequate heatsink, finding a new fan if yours has died(any 60mm x 10mm should work) can be frustrating, and will probalby end up costing more (after shipping) than this will. After saying all that, I will tell you one last thing. This is THE BEST heatsink that you can buy for your flatscreen games. Are there better heatsink/fan combos out there? Yes! Will they fit inside an EVO cabinet? NO! Furthermore, this baby is made of pure copper (which dissipates heat better than aluminum), has a relatively quiet high speed fan, but isn't so tall as to not fit inside the cabinet! Your CPU should run substantially cooler than it does with the original HSF. This is a great HSF for a Force or ION EVO/Elite Edge. However, if you have a Classic Force, Radion, Elite, Upright, Vibe, or any other Force machine, you should not buy this. Check my other auctions for a larger, less expensive HSF!
