Nicely detailed, this cast brass paper weight was handcrafted in Nepal. It measures about 2 3/8 inches across, and 7/8 inches thick. The paper weight has been antiqued, but it is not old. It is new and unused. A Double Dorje is a Tibetan Buddhist power symbol. The traditional Tibetan Buddhist books are loose pages between wooden covers, and most of the praying and chanting is done out-of-doors. A paper weight is essential.
