This auction is for a reproduction Early 19th Century brass pocket compass. The compass is 1 3/4" in diameter. Perfect for your shooting pouch or those tiny watch pockets in your trousers!

1: WE WILL NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE FALSIFY CUSTOMS FORMS, SO DON'T ASK!!
2: Most of our items come with delivery confimation.
3: Items that are extremely fragile or are worth MORE THAN $100 will have insurance. Otherwise we will not provide insurance. If insurance is not provided, you may request insurance by e-mailing us.
4: SHIPPING: We do not send out a notice when the item has been shipped due to the large volume of products we sell. My time can be better used in producing quality goods. You are welcome to e-mail or call us if you would like to know the status of your order, but please, be reasonable and friendly. No one wants to be chewed out 12 hours after the auction ends... We will ship your item within 4 business days of the auction's end. Remember that as with most businesses, Saturday and Sunday are not business days. I can't ship anything on a Sunday or a holiday no matter how much I'd like to or how much a buyer threatens. We will do our best to charge you the closest amount possible to actual shipping costs. Remember that there's more than just the stamp. We add about 50 cents to a dollar to some orders to cover the cost of bubble wrap/packing peanuts. Check Staples or Office Depot. That stuff's expensive and I'm sure you appreciate liberal use of it to protect your item!!
5: Payment must be made within 7 days of the auction's end. We will make every attempt to remind you at least once, but regardless, we will file an unpaid item complaint with eBay on the 8th day after the auction's end if the item has not been paid.
6: We will work with you to the best of our ability to make sure that you are satisfied and happy with your item. If for some reason you are not satisfied, please contact us BEFORE you leave feedback. We will not answer any complaints or offer any help if negative feedback has been left. On the other side of things, if you think you can get away with using the feedback system to scam us, please see the notice below.
7: We will leave feedback for you. We generally leave feedback once a month. This is because I feel that a quality customer deserves an actual reply, not an automated system. We appreciate our customers and we will reward you with good feedback. We ask that you do the same for us.
8: RETURNS: In the rare event that a customer is unsatisfied with our product, we will gladly accept a return on that item. Here's how it works:
CONTACT US and tell us the problem.
RETURN the item to the address provided.
WE WILL refund your purchase price for the item, minus a 3% restocking fee to cover eBay Final Value Fees associated with your purchase.
WE WILL NOT refund shipping costs. If the item arrived to you, then you have received in full the services you paid for and we cannot refund those fees. In order to reduce the chance that you will need to return an item, please READ the description thoroughly and ask any questions you have. Most of the issues we've had over the last 10 years stem from folks who don't read the description.
9: In the event that we grossly mis-described an item, we will refund all fees, but remember that grossly not as described is as rare as us sending out the wrong item.
10: You may contact us at any time via the eBay contact system, or you may call us at (812) 606-1264. We prefer to discuss potential issues over the phone since sometimes things just don't come through e-mail very well. If we don't answer, leave a message. We will call you back.

We have had several cases lately of individuals who have demanded that we change our listing policies to suit them, thereby violating our auction terms and using the threat of negative feedback to make sure that their demands are met. THIS IS EXTORTION AND IT IS ILLEGAL! We will henceforth pursue such illegal action through all channels including eBay and Federal Law Enforcement. Don't try it...

Here are some ways that you can help us provide you with the best service and make every transaction a pleasant one. Be sure to read the listing description thoroughly. Don't just look at the pictures. A picture is worth 1000 words, but it doesn't suffice for all of them. If you have concerns about something that is not mentioned in the auction, feel free to contact us BEFORE YOU BID. We will answer your questions. Read our business and eBay policies. Remember that we are not responsible for uninsured packages after they leave us. We will ship your order in a timely fashion and we will pack it to the best of our abilities. That is all we can do.
