These heavy brass candles used to sit on my mother's knick knack shelf, and are AT LEAST 50 years old just based on how long ago I remember seeing them.
I always thought of them as decorative, but have seen similar items listed as doll house accessories, so that may have been their original use.
Smaller pair is 1 1/2" tall and will hold small birthday candles
Larger pair is 2 1/2" tall, would probably hold larger birthday candles
