___________________________________________
I have tried to display the
colors accurately, but please be aware that color can vary from one monitor to
another. (I have heard from some of my buyers, that the
paintings are much better than the photos. I have tried a number of techniques
to get the photos better, without much luck. In almost every instance, I
believe it is safe for me to say, that the image you see here on eBay, will not be as good
as the painting itself. I have noticed that if
you lean back away from the monitor, it looks better.)
The painting is signed on the front and
signed and dated on the back. A certificate of authenticity is available upon
request.
Don't pass up your chance to get this
work of art at an affordable price and no reserve.
Although I am selling the original
painting, I retain the official copyright to reprint the images for commercial
purposes. The buyer may reproduce
for personal use, but not for commercial purposes, without written permission from
the artist.

Bill Brauker
Bill Brauker first started painting in the early
1970s, then life interrupted. He got married, had children, worked as a reporter, as the
Press Secretary for a US. Congressman, newspaper editor, public relations executive and
chief information officer for the City and County of Honolulu.
Over the years, his love of art continued, and he traveled extensively to some of the
great art museums of the world. "I've been to the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam
twice," he said. "It was like going to heaven , or finding the Holy Grail."
He loves discovering new paintings and painters.
Bill was born in Coldwater, Michigan, and lived in the state for over 40 years. After
living through countless brutal Michigan winters, he and his wife, Anne, decided it was
time for a change. They packed up the kids and moved to Honolulu, Hawaii, for six years.
They discovered after a while, that 84 and sunny was not all it was cracked up to be, and
wanted to go back to the, "real world." Leaving Hawaii in the late '90s, they
moved to Colorado, half way between Denver and Boulder, with the beautiful Front Range of
the Colorado Rockies looming out the window, his thoughts drifted back again to painting
and those first paintings in the 1970s.
In 2006, Bill started painting again, and since that
time has sold his paintings all over the US and numerous foreign nations.
Bill on Painting
My interest focuses on color, texture,
mood and mystery. I think they must all be present for the piece to work.
I can't describe the joy of creating something
out of that blank space. You just never know how it will turn out, and to me, that is the
great fun of it. I'm learning to experiment more and let myself go. So keep an
eye out for my future paintings.
Attention Art
Buyers
You may be missing out on a number of good,
low cost paintings, due to the way Ebay is set up.
If
you are searching for paintings in the, Art > Direct from the Artist >
Paintings category, you should know that the first 25 pages or so of paintings, are
featured plus items, which means that artists have paid $14.99 to Ebay for special
placement in front of all the other paintings offered. That means that if you are
looking at items, "ending soonest," you are only seeing the featured items that
are ending. You are missing out on thousands of others, who do not pay Ebay for
special placement, that are located after the featured section.
To
find them, sort by, "ending soonest," (use the little box at the top of
the page on the upper right just above the items for sale.) and go to page 25 or so.
(to jump to any page, go down to the bottom of the page and type in the page number in the
little box that says, "go to page.") When you reach page 25, you will see
on the far right, the time remaining. If it says nine days, you are near the end of
the featured items. Keep going through the pages until you come to the thousands of
other items that will be listed according to their closing times. You will be
astounded by the quality, low cost art, you find there.
There
is also another great place to look for paintings, and that is in the, Art > Direct
from the Artist > Other category. A lot of good painters are listing their works
there, because there are fewer listings and their customers can find them easier.
Happy
searching and I hope that you will find a painting you love, and will have with you
forever. BB

A
bit of advice.
Are you tired of being out-bid at the
last second by snipers? Many of my auctions end with bids in the last 30 seconds.
I love it, but I'm sure there are
many bidders who end up disappointed.
There is a solution. eBay's
simple to use proxy bidding.
Here's how it works.
--When you place a bid, enter the
maximum amount you are willing to pay for the item. Your maximum amount is kept
confidential from other bidders and from me, the seller.
--The eBay system compares your bid to those of the other bidders. The system
places bids on your behalf, using only as much of your bid as is necessary to maintain
your high bid position (or to meet the reserve price). The system will bid up to your
maximum amount.
--If another bidder has a higher maximum, you'll be outbid. BUT, if no other bidder has a
higher maximum, you win the item. And you could pay significantly less than maximum
price you were willing to bid!
This means you don't have to keep
coming back to re-bid every time another bid is placed, and you will end up winning more
of the auctions. |
