This guy is Breyer’s Traditional-sized Stock Horse Stallion, a vintage CM more recently half-re-prepped. I’m not going to get around to doing anything useful with him and my work-desk is getting so full I can’t work on it, so some of the ‘extras’ are going to have to go.
Maybe someone would like to save this poor little guy and turn him into a beautiful western halter/performance horse? Some of his seams (not all) have been sanded and filled with Apoxie Sculpt. His chin has been built up, a broken ear and unevenly factory-sanded hoof have been rebuilt with Apoxie. His tail’s been sawn off but will need filling and completely removing for hair-prep, or resculpting. His mane’s been partially removed but not sanded. His foreleg has been broken but repaired; the join's barely visible. One ear is carved out (might give the other one a go so they match during the next week). Chestnuts have been added. His old acrylic paint job is still half-intact but will be easy to remove or primer over, since it's airbrushed and very smooth. Some areas have a thin coat of gesso to show the rough areas – and he’s an old mold Breyer, so there are more than a few of those. He’ll need quite a bit of TLC but there’s lots of potential for a very correct horse there, as this is a nice model, and he’ll reward a customiser amply. A lot of the hard work has already been done, however because of his rough state I’m starting him very low. Pick up a bargain! Any questions, please feel free to ask. Happy to help with more photos, or CM advice.:)
Overseas buyers - please contact me for postage costs. I ACCEPT PAYPAL for overseas buyers only. Please wait until end of auction and I will give you my (verified) Paypal address. I used to list it on my auctions as an automatic option but local buyers didn't read the small print and used it despite my only accepting bank deposit for locals. Apologies for the inconvenience!
*Postage is an estimate and will vary based on your location. Please wait for me to give you an exact amount at the end of the auction. I’m happy to combine postage for multiple items. I only charge you what it costs me to post your item/s.
TERMS & CONDITIONS...IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ!
I take all possible care with packing, and have not had an item arrive damaged yet, but I take no responsibility for what Australia Post does to the parcel once it leaves my hands. I recommend choosing registered post (an extra $2.60) or postal insurance (for o/seas parcels), especially for expensive items.
Postage is approximate and will vary based on your location, unless it fits in an overnight satchel. I only charge you what it costs me to post, which occasionally includes packing materials (I recycle wherever possible), but I do not make any profit on postage.
Please check all of the information I have provided, especially sizing, really carefully. I don’t refund for wrong sizing or anything else where I’ve provided information and the buyer hasn’t read it.
Everyone has to start somewhere, and I do accept bids from Zero-Feedback bidders, but please email me first, or I reserve the right to cancel your bid. This also goes for bidders with excessive negative feedback.
Please ask any questions first, and allow time for me to answer (ie., not an hour before the auction ends).
I am happy to refund if I have made a mistake or provided wrong information for the listing. Refunds will not be provided unless the mistake is mine. So far I haven’t had anyone want a refund, but there’s a first time for everything.:)
That said, PLEASE contact me if you have a problem. Don’t just leave negative feedback. You’ll find me very reasonable if you just communicate!
I post as soon as possible after I receive your payment. Usually this is the same or next day, but I am working crazy hours at the moment and it will sometimes be up to three days. If you are in a huge rush for your item, please let me know and I'll do my best to get it to you asap. Otherwise, your patience is appreciated.
If you’ve got this far, YOU ROCK!! Thank you, and happy bidding.:)
