I recently purchased a large lot of traditional horses to do etching on with two particular models in mind that were in the lot. To my surprise there were other models that came along that were infact rare and vintage molds with very little wear. I hated to etch over these as they are part of Breyer colletor history and hard to find so I thought I'd offer them here on ebay to those collectors who like the oldies and rare or variations. I can always etch them later if there is no interest :) So here is the well known Jumping horse. I looked up in two different value books to verifiy this is an OF (original finish) and vintage model with bald face down the sides, beautiful shading and brown/bay color and what also makes this guy rare is that he has no white or black socks. His wonderful body color continues down to his hooves with that great shading and darker shading on knees and ankles. He doesn't have a base and is in near mint condition with no breaks or chips. Will start bidding at less than your average traditional scale current model hoping someone will save his original finish. As I personally collect mostly vintages this is important to me to try to preserve the older rare pieces.
