Hello,
Up for sale is my 1993 Guild Brian May Signature Guitar. I won't tell you that you can't find this guitar these days, but it is getting harder...but I will tell you it's very difficult finding this guitar in immaculate condition. This guitar is beautiful and is the jewel of my ever decreasing collection.
The sound of the guitar is wonderful, too. I think it sounds way better than the Burns Brian May version and this Guild version is fast, low, and silky...I may have played it 4 times in 7 years and I don't allow anyone to touch it, let alone slobber over it.
About the guitar....every detail is there all the way to the unique tremolo system. The tremolo is knife-edge and returns in tune every time it is used...better than most Floyd Roses. There are hollow chambers in the body to enhance tone. The pickups allow for a wide range of pickup options - in and out of phase. I'm including the original manual which discusses the pickup settings to recreate some of Brian's most famous tones. Did you see the picture of the headstock? The white cream lettering of the Guild insignia and binding is subtlety blending into that sought after tobacco color. I can go on and on about this guitar, but I am assume if you are looking at this, you know what this guitar is all about. What makes this one even more unique is that it was made for the European market, shown stamped with the tell tale ME serial number.
This is a great opportunity so bid to BUY. If you win this auction, I will cover shipping and insurance (in the US only) for this....baby. Keep in mind that I only accept PayPal. Thanks for looking. Good luck!
Mark
