You are bidding on a Real Nice Bridgeport Series 1, 2 HP, Variable Speed, Vertical Knee Type Milling Machine, S/N 461711288Y, Manufactured new in 1988.  This is the twin to the one we sold last week (one serial number apart).  This Bridgeport is equipped with a 9" X 48" T-Slotted Table, one shot lubrication system, and a power variable speed table ("X" axis) feed w/ rapid traverse.  It has hard chrome ways with a few light scratches but not worn.  The 48" table has two very slight operator errors (tool marks) showing in it.  "X" axis travel is 34" and the "Y" axis travel is 12".  The photos show what nice condition this machine was in when we purchased it from a tool and die shop that went out of business.  They had very careful machinists who took real good care of their machine tools.  All we did prior to placing it on eBay is wipe it off.  We also reworked the quill, replacing a few parts on the quill feed as it was tighter than we like them to be.  It was under power when we purchased it, so we were able to run it ourselves.  We now have it under power at our warehouse for your inspection, if you care to come see it in person.  It runs as good as it looks.  If you need a good Bridgeport, you can't go wrong with this one.  The head is quiet, the quill and quill feed are in excellent condition, ways and table are good.  The backlash on the "X" axis is .046" and the "Y" axis backlash is .077".
