|   Merry Christmas Everyone To all of our current & potential new customers We will be closing our shop for the season from 12/14/2009 until early March 2010 We will maintain an internet presence through EBAY to answer questions Our internet capabilities will be intermittent between 12/14/09 through 12/21/09 If you want you may purchase one of our listings as a “PRESOLD” item that will ship in March 2010 Note: Engine fan shrouds may be of either type pictured This engine will be reconditioned with a complete new 30hp 810CC block, much larger bore (see pics), high capacity oil pump, Commercial oil pan with Lower main bearing bushing (see pics) for increased side load capabilities. More torque than a 30hp Kohler engine Same external dimensions as a Model "40XXXX" or "44XXXX" series Briggs Blocks (see pic), rods (see pics) & Heavy duty oil pans (see pics) & Pistons now in stock. Please allow at least 7-10 Business days for preparation & shipment of this engine Available with Combo Hour meter/Tachometer (see pics) $25.00 Available with LOW OIL Pressure Shut Down Sentry (see pics) $35.00 We have several hundred engines, both Briggs & Kohler.
The pictures are of typical engines & may not be of the exact engine I have received comments about the shipping & handling costs. The selling price for the engine does "NOT" include our material costs for packaging the engine. These engines weigh about 90-100lbs, Shipping, Packaging & Handling is $95.00 in the lower 48 states this includes $38.00 worth of NEW packaging materials. Actual Typical shipping costs are average $60-$65.00 from FEDEX or UPS. Engine is shipped in NEW HD 20"x20"x20" inner carton with rigid foam packing & "INSTAFOAM" packaging & a 22"x22"x22" HD outer carton & to reduce the risk of shipping damage.
Reconditioned using OEM Briggs Parts 1"x3 5/32" or 1 1/8"x4 5/16" crankshaft. Please send us your Model &Type is so we can verify your shaft size before purchasing. The engine will be run on our test bench to insure there is nothing wrong & that it is in "LIKE NEW" Condition. Will fit most AYP products with electric blade clutch. This includes Sears, Huskavarna, John Deere, Cub Cadet etc. Will replace Briggs, Kohler & Kawasaki V Twin engines from 20hp to 27hp if correct exhaust is used. We recommend Mobil One Synthetic 10W30 oil for all of our engines. Includes owners manual, new oil & fuel filters. Most engine failures I see are due to lack of maintenance including regular oil, oil filter & air filter changes or the use of poor quality oils. Small air cooled engines run much warmer than automobile engines & regular oils break down quickly at these temperatures. Good quality synthetic oils are made to withstand these extreme temperatures & extend the life of the engine greatly.
