British Coal Mining Lamp

This auction is for a British Coal Mining lamp. Marked on a brass front plate in raised letters it reads: British Coal Mining Company Wales U.K. ~Type Vale Serial No. 13217 Colliery Name & No. Made of solid brass. Measures approx. 9" tall (not including the hook handle). Lamp has a large hook on top of the lamp to hang the lamp. Lamp uses Paraffin oil only. Lamp is in excellent condition, never used. Hand crafted in the Welsh coal mining fields/areas. Bottom reads Made in Wales Vale Metal Spinners Hirwaun. Winning bidder to add $9.50 for shipping and handling.
